I came across the 2012 London Olympic Ticket Designs that were done by FutureBrand and wanted to share. Although I like the overall color palette and treatment of the background the illustration style has the same nineties geometric quality as the controversial logo they designed for the olympics which I don't feel is as dynamic or sophisticated as it could be.

I do really amazed if the packaging surrounded by a variety of colors. I used to paste my sight there almost. Thanks for posting.

I do see your point of the geometric shapes. I'm not a big fan either. The colors are amazing.

These seem nice enough to me.
They are colourful and engaging and I guess have to follow the initial brand?

Totally agree - the background has a lot of interest and depth, but the illustration looks as if it just doesn't belong.

I quite like the simplicity of the design - it's good that it's not over done and too complicated. But I do agree with your point about the geometric shaping - it does seem a little dated.

I'm inclined to agree. But as a designer myself I don't like to criticise other people's work. I guess future brand had to follow the initial brand set by Wolf Olins.
